SOCIAL ACTIVITY GROUPS
Social Activity Groups are special interest or hobby groups which meet regularly throughout the year. Any member or prospective member may join a Social Activity Group. Sign-up sheets are available at the September meeting, or you may contact the group leader to add your name to the group.
TRAVELIN' LUNCH LADIES
Book Club is for those who enjoy reading. Everyone reads the same book then meets to discuss the book. If you would like to join this group, please contact Marilyn T.
Canasta Card Club
Members meet one evening a month to play canasta while socializing and having fun together. Contact Rosemary S. for more information.
Steppin' Out is for those who enjoy having fun and getting together with other YWA friends for a special activity once a month. This group is for singles and couples alike, so everyone can participate. Activities have included dinner at a restaurant, a wine and cheese tasting at a member’s home, movie night, miniature golf, backyard picnic, game night, fondue party, costume party, and a murder mystery dinner to name a few. Travelin' Lunch Ladies
This group meets for lunch each month during the year at various restaurants in the York/Lancaster/Baltimore area. The specific location, time, and contact person will be inserted in the monthly newsletter. All members are invited to attend. Carpooling arrangements will be available. This luncheon group meets the third Wednesday of each month at 12 noon. Women enjoy hosting luncheons in their homes, experiencing field trips to an array of gourmet restaurants, taking gourmet-related tours, and participating in hands-on cooking activities. For more information, contact Kate G.
